Call the police immediately,
even if the accident appears minor.

Never admit fault for the
accident or make any arrangements with the other party regarding
repairs of the vehicle.

If possible leave the vehicles
where they came to rest.

Write down the names, addresses
and telephone numbers of everyone involved.

Get the name of the Insurance
Company and names of the owner of the other vehicle(s) involved in
the accident.

Write down the year, make,
model and license plate of the vehicle(s) involved in the accident.

Note any injuries to all
persons involved in the accident.

Write down the names, addresses
and phone numbers of any independent witnesses.

If a camera is available
photograph the accident scene. Also photograph the damage to each
vehicle.

As soon as you can-even from
the scene if possible, call your Insurance Company Representative.

Note the badge number and name
of the officer, as well as the Station.

If the vehicle had been damaged
to render it impossible to drive, arrange for it to be towed to the
nearest garage or a safe place. Do not abandon the vehicle or leave
it unattended at the scene of the accident.
