In the event that your property should sustain damages, please use the following steps to submit your claim to us so that you can be reimbursed for your loss.

  1. Give notice to your Insurance Company immediately upon discovery of the insured loss. 

  2. Report to the office and collect a Home and Contents Insurance Claim Form (Proof of Loss). 

  3. This Claim Form should be completed to the best of your knowledge and belief and should give details of the damaged or destroyed property and its insured value and replacement value.

  4. Where possible provide serial numbers of damaged or destroyed items.

  5. Procure copies of Police Reports and/or Fire Reports (if applicable).

  6. Take pictures or videos of the loss to substantiate your claim.

  7. Take reasonable steps to secure any salvageable items, in the case of contents so as to prevent pilferage. Remember that this is a condition on your policy of insurance.

  8. Submit the completed Claim Form along with reports and other evidence to the insurance company.
